Married now, and back to work! (Mangaka ftw)

Z and I have been married for a few months now, and everything is awesome! We have both shared chores, bills, etc, and hope for the future is high. About a month after we returned from the honeymoon I began to feel a familiar, nagging loneliness creep in and it took mere days for me to figure it all out- I spent a year planning and executing a wedding, and I had not had much (okay, any) time for art!
Well, fresh from visiting the Ohayocon convention in Columbus (think small, people- 10% of the crowd of Otakon in Baltimore) and the acquire of 27 some shiny new Copic markers (thank you, unexpected high-volume table), I am instantly once more immersed.

What does that mean for you? It means you get good news and bad news overall.

Good news is- I am actively creating my upcoming Manga series, tentatively titled 'Scholar'. This series has been in the practice stages for better than eight years in various stages. I have already drawn some 15 pages over that period of time (as the series was not my main focus, but a random hobby). There is twice that amount is roughs for other pages. My goal is to have a website up and running within the next year with regular updates, competing on sites like topwebcomics.

The bad news is, only two to four of the current pages are acceptable to show to a wide audience, so I am taking pencil in hand and hiding away to work. The other part of the bad news is that none of my current work (therefore, the best stuff) will be uploaded to DeviantArt. Can't spoil it. I'll do what I can to showcase my actual talent meanwhile, but I have very little time outside work and it may be the most that I can manage to upload older art of mine. Let me know what you all think.

Also, I'm glad to be back!

Fair enough but sounds rather uncomfortable xD
How you doing now anyway? I haven't talked to you in a long time : <
Great! I've been fighting to kep the guild alive, sent out a new batch of invites a few days ago- I found when we had several active members, I still had to send 40 or so invites a week to keep it hopping. The contests don't take too much time, but it's hard when I wanna respond to every thread and don't have the time. I need to be drawing. -_-
